A 48-year-old woman was found dead with apparent gunshot wounds on Wood Street around 6:20 a.m., according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
Then, a 50-year-old man was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on the 2400 block of North Mill Road, McRae-Webb said.
The investigation involves a domestic violence matter. Therefore, the names of the individuals involved were not being released, she said.
The investigation is ongoing.
